The Patch Has Been Reading Again

The Patch on the Religious Right.

"The country is getting further away from Christian values, and we're being stifled," says Debbie Mochle-Young, of Santa Monica, Calif. "Other nationalities are coming to live here and say, 'We want our beliefs,' but they don't let you have yours”.

Being stifled, How? By Whom? Other nationalities are coming here to stay, live and practice their beliefs, and not let us have ours. How are other nationalities not letting you have your faith and what is un-American about practicing your own faith? Other nationalities have been coming to America from day one. I'll bet not many who read this blog have to go back more then two generations until they are these other nationalities.

"Judicial activists are running rampant and a God-free country is their goal.... All means to turn the tide must be considered, including their removal," urges the Rev. Rick Scarborough, founder of Vision America, which mobilizes "patriot pastors" across the US.

A great case of accusing your opponents of doing the very thing you are doing yourself.
Christian evangelicals have the right to worship in the way they feel most appropriate.

Doesn’t every other religious group in America have the same right?
Those of us, who believe in religious diversity and tolerance, and in the idea of no state-sponsored religion, are in fact the ones who are advancing the ideas and thoughts of the Founding Fathers
Does not the US Constitution guarantee religious freedom for all Americans and as important, freedom from religion? And dictates that there will be no official government religion?
This continuous attack on judges in general and the Supreme Court in general is the biggest bunch of bull to come down the road, all the right wants are judges that rule for them, not the Constitution
Analyze what these people are trying to say and you have to think, what do they really want? Total Control?

Better Read “The Handmaid Tales” by Margaret Atwood.
The PatchDog 3

Watched C-Span Saturday Evening, Supreme Court Associate Judge Atonin Scalia gave a speach
with a question and answer session following. Very Good. C-Span has tons of good stuff.
