Conservatives, get off John Kerry’s war record, all you’re doing is hiding the non-record of G.W. Bush. Bush did what a lot of good and bad men did during the Vietnam War, they hid out. Case closed. Some hid in collages, some hid in the National Guard and Reserves. J. Kerry at least went. (Wonder where G.W. would hide now? He made sure the guard and reserves are no place to hide today.)

That covers the guys with money and connections. The rest of us had the choice of enlisting or being drafted.

You Vietnam Vets, why would any of you try to defend Bush’s non-military record?

Torture? Others torture so it’s now ok for us to torture? I don’t think so. Torturing people is not American! We should stand on high moral ground. WE do not torture, we do not throw people in prison and let them rot, we do not desecrate other people’s religion, we are Americans and we don’t do that, Saddam Hussein, now that’s what he does.

Religious right; quit damning the government for not enforcing your religious views. Keep your religion in your church where it belongs. Can we hear it now; some judge removes a ten commandment statue from his court room and puts one of Buda in its place.

I’ve read in WW2 the Germans would fight until they ran out of ammo, then surrender, knowing Americans would take them prisoners. That’s Americans and America; shooting enemies that ran out of ammo wasn’t done. The Russians on the eastern front were a different story.

Speaking of the draft, I think compulsory military service should be made law. First, everyone has to perform military service. (Everyone) Second, every eligible son and/or daughter of the Congress, the President and his administration goes first and goes to a combat unit.

Another thing conservatives; quit defending policies of G.W. Bush that where they policies of a democrat you all would go nuts over. (No Child Left behind Act, Patriot Act and Homeland security, filibuster reform, court packing, on and on.) Lies for War!!!
